Where Should I Start Reading Stargirl Comics?

The Stargirl TV series is been a hit with both critics and audiences since its debut on May 18, 2020. As with many popular characters who appear on the small screen, new fans might wonder where to start reading her comic book stories.  Here's what you need to know:

• Courtney Whitmore made her first comics appearance in July of 1999 in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E.
• She made her first appearance as Stargirl in JSA: All Stars #4 in 2003.
• Courtney/Stargirl's creators are Geoff Johns, Lee Moder and David S. Goyer.
